About Unity Park Community Garden
Formed in 2009, Unity Park Community Garden is a project of The Neighborhood Harvest Project a 501(c)3 whose mission is to promote healthy local food, sustainable agriculture and living through education and community gardening. The garden is located at 2746 Gattis School Rd, Round Rock, TX 78664
Our goal is to support a vibrant local food system where Round Rock residents of all ages and backgrounds experience the benefits of sustainable community, school and neighborhood gardening, become healthier through improved diets, exercise and positive social interactions, and learn about and practice sustainable living.
We encourage gardeners to give back by sharing their garden produce, skills, knowledge and dedication with others as part of this multi-cultural, multi-generational community
Regular Garden Help Days bring all gardeners together to maintain common spaces, get help with their own plot, or attend workshops to help improve their gardening skills.
The Baha’i Community of Round Rock makes the garden possible as part of their community outreach by providing the land and access to water.
